Chapter 10 · Verse 1257
एष विप्रैर् अभिष्ंउतोइ᳓पो देवो वि गाहते. दधद् रत्नानि दाशुषे
Dadhad ratnåni då‹u¶e. This spirit, divine, generous and refulgent, adored and exalted by sages and scholars, and holding jewel gifts of life for people of generous charity, watches and controls the actions of humanity and the laws of nature in operation.
यह दिव्य, उदार और तेजस्वी आत्मा, ऋषियों और विद्वानों द्वारा पूजित और प्रशंसित होकर, उदार दान देने वालों के लिए जीवन के रत्नों को धारण करती है।

एष विश्वानि वार्या श्ञुरो यन्निव सत्वभिः. पवमानः सिषासति
Pavamåna¨ si¶åsati. This divine spirit, pure, purifying and powerful, advancing by its own essential power as a hero, brings and distributes cherished gifts of life among the celebrants.
यह शुद्ध, पवित्र और शक्तिशाली दिव्य आत्मा, एक वीर की तरह अपनी शक्ति से आगे बढ़ते हुए, उत्सव मनाने वालों के बीच जीवन के प्रिय उपहार लाती है और वितरित करती है।

एष देवो रथर्यति पवमानो दिशस्यति. Åविष्कृणोति वग्वनुम्
Åvi¶kæƒoti vagvanum. This spirit of divinity going forward like a chariot, pure, purifying, gives the gifts of life and reveals new and latest words of advance knowledge as it moves on.
यह देव रथ की भांति आगे बढ़ता हुआ, पवित्र और पवित्र करने वाला, जीवन के उपहार देता है और ज्ञान के नए मार्ग प्रकट करता है।

एष देवो विपन्युभिः पवमान ऋतायुभिः. हरिर् वाजाय मृज्यते
Harir våjåya mæjyate. This refulgent spirit, light of life, saviour and harbinger of joy, glorified by celebrants and poets of rectitude is praised and adored for the achievement of victory and advancement.
यह देव, जो विद्वानों और सत्यनिष्ठों द्वारा स्तुति किया जाता है, विजय और उन्नति के लिए शुद्ध किया जाता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1261
एष देवो विपा कृतोइ᳓ति ह्वराँन्सि धावति. पवमानो अदाभ्यः
Pavamåno adåbhya¨. This refulgent spirit is celebrated by sages and, being undaunted, overtakes all crookedness, purifying and sanctifying everything and every mind.
यह देव, जो ऋषियों द्वारा प्रशंसित है, निर्भय होकर सभी टेढ़ेपन को दूर करता है।

एष दिवं वि धावति तिरो रजाँन्सि धारया. पवमानः कनिक्रदत्
Pavamåna¨ kanikradat. This spirit with the waves of its power rushes and radiates unto the heavens across the skies and atomic oceans of space, pure, purifying and roaring like thunder.
यह पवित्र आत्मा अपनी शक्ति की तरंगों के साथ आकाश और अंतरिक्ष के परमाण्विक महासागरों में दौड़ती है और प्रकाशमान होती है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1263
एष दिवं व्यासरत् तिरो रजाँन्स्यस्तृतः. पवमानः स्वध्वरः
Pavamåna¨ svadhvara¨. This spirit radiates to the heavens across the atomic oceans of skies and spaces, unhurt and unopposed, pure, purifying, performing the cosmic yajna of love, non-violence and creation of new life in evolution.
यह दिव्य प्रकाश, जो शुद्ध और पवित्र है, समस्त लोकों में व्याप्त होकर, बिना किसी बाधा के, प्रेम, अहिंसा और नवजीवन के सृजन के विराट यज्ञ का संपादन करता है।

एष प्रत्नेन जन्मना देवो देवेभ्यः सुतः. हरिः पवित्रे अर्षति
Hari¨ pavitre ar¶ati. This divine spirit since its timeless manifestation, revealed and manifested for the divines, arises in the pure hearts of humanity, eliminating pain and suffering.
यह देवत्व, अपने अनादि जन्म से ही, देवताओं के लिए प्रकट हुआ है, और पवित्र हृदयों में उत्पन्न होता है।

एष उ स्य पुरुव्रतो जज्¤आनो जनयन्निषः. धारया पवते सुतः
Dhårayå pavate suta¨. This spirit of divinity, power of infinite law and action, creating and providing food, energy and sustenance for life, flows on in continuum, self- sustained, self-revealed, discovered, self-realised.
यह दिव्य शक्ति, अनंत नियम और क्रिया की शक्ति, जीवन के लिए भोजन, ऊर्जा और पोषण का निर्माण और प्रदान करती हुई, निरंतर प्रवाहित होती है।

एष धिया यात्यण्व्या श्ञुरो रथेभिर् आशुभिः गच्छन्निन्द्रस्य निष्कृतम्
Gacchannindrasya ni¶kætam. This Soma, spirit of peace and joy, brave dispeller of darkness, moves with the subtlest intelligence and awareness and comes by the fastest media of psychic communication and comes to the seat of its presence in the mind and soul of man.
यह सोम, शांति और आनंद का सार, अंधकार का वीर नाशक, सूक्ष्म बुद्धि और चेतना से चलता है और मन तथा आत्मा में अपनी उपस्थिति के स्थान पर आता है।

एष पुर्ञु धियायते बृहते देवतातये. यत्रामृतास आशत
Yatråmætåsa å‹ata. This infinite and eternal Spirit of peace, love and joy is ever keen to bless humanity with boundless piety and divinity in which men of immortal knowledge, karma and divine love abide.
यह शाश्वत आत्मा, जो असीम शांति, प्रेम और आनंद से परिपूर्ण है, मनुष्यों को असीम पवित्रता और दिव्यता से सदा आशीर्वाद देने के लिए तत्पर है, जहाँ अमर ज्ञान, कर्म और दिव्य प्रेम वाले मनुष्य निवास करते हैं।

एतं मृजन्ति मर्ज्यम् उप द्रोणेष्वायवः प्रचक्राणं महीरिषः
People adore this glorious power closely treasured in the heart, the divine power that creates and gives great food, energy and advancement.
यह महान शक्ति, जो हृदय में गुप्त है, हमें पोषण, ऊर्जा और उन्नति प्रदान करती है, जिसकी हम आराधना करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1269
एष हितो वि नीयतेइ᳓न्तः शुन्ध्यावता पथा. यदी तु¤जन्ति भ्ञुर्णयः
Yad∂ tu¤janti bhμurƒaya¨. This divine Spirit is attained and internalised in the core of the heart and soul by the brilliant path of clairvoyance, when the passionate seekers surrender themselves in obedience to it.
यह दिव्य आत्मा, जब साधक पूर्ण समर्पण के साथ इसका अनुसरण करते हैं, तो अंतःकरण में प्रज्ञा के उज्ज्वल मार्ग से प्राप्त होती है।

एष रुक्मिभिर् ईयते वाजी शुभ्रेभिर् अँन्शुभिः. पतिः सिन्ध्ञुनाम् भवन्
Pati¨ sindhμunåm bhavan. It pervades every where by its holy brilliance of light and wide creative forces, ruling over the dynamics of the vibrating oceans of space.
यह अपनी शुभ दीप्ति और व्यापक रचनात्मक शक्तियों से सर्वत्र व्याप्त है, जो अंतरिक्ष के स्पंदित महासागरों की गतिशीलता पर शासन करता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1271
एष शृΔगाणि दोधुवच् छिशीते य्ञुथ्यो वृषा. नृम्णा दधान ओजसा
Næmƒå dadhåna ojaså. This Soul, vibrating on top of the highest bounds of the universe, abides in repose in the world of existence, one with all in the multitudinous world, generous and virile, bearing and ruling the entire wealth and powers of the universe by its power and splendour.
यह आत्मा ब्रह्मांड की उच्चतम सीमाओं पर स्पंदित होती हुई, अस्तित्व के लोक में विश्राम करती है, अपनी शक्ति और तेज से ब्रह्मांड की संपूर्ण संपदा और शक्तियों को धारण और शासित करती है।

एष वस्ञुनि पिब्दनः परुषा ययिवँन् अति. अव शादेषु गच्छति
Ava ‹åde¶u gacchati. It moves and overcomes hard and rough places of hidden hoarded wealth of negative powers and goes over to protect the powers that observe divine discipline in the battles of life.
यह (ऊर्जा) छिपे हुए धन के कठिन और ऊबड़-खाबड़ स्थानों से होकर जाती है, और जीवन की लड़ाइयों में दिव्य अनुशासन का पालन करने वाली शक्तियों की रक्षा करती है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1273
एतमु त्यं दश क्षिपो हरिं हिन्वन्ति यातवे. स्वायुधं मदिन्तमम्
Svåyudha≈ madintamam. Ten pranas and ten faculties, of senses and mind, glorify this Soma, lord of peace and joy, who is most ecstatically blissful and wields noble powers of protection for advancement and progress.
हे सोम! दस प्राण और दस इन्द्रियाँ तुम्हारी स्तुति करती हैं, जो परम आनंदमय और कल्याणकारी हैं।

एष उ स्य वृषा रथोइ᳓व्या वारेभिर् अव्यत. गच्छन् वाजं सहस्रिणम्
Gacchan våja≈ sahasriƒam. This Soma spirit of joy in existence, mighty generous, all protective omnipresent mover, extremely charming, creating and giving thousandfolds of wealth, honour and excellence, vibrates by its dynamic presence at the highest and brightest in the heart of choice souls and in choice beauties of existence.

एतम् त्रितस्य योषणो हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः. इन्दुम् इन्द्राय पीतये
Indum indråya p∂taye. This Spirit of joy, eliminator of suffering, happy voices of the sage past three bondages of body, mind and soul adore, with the intensity of adamantine meditation for the spiritual joy of general humanity.
यह त्रित के बल को, जो तीन बंधनों को दूर करता है, इंद्र के लिए आनंदमय रूप से पोषित करता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1276
एष स्य मानुषीष्वा श्येनो न विक्षु सीदति. गच्छन् जारो न योषितम्
Gacchan jåro na yo¶itam. This Soma pervades and shines in the generality of humanity like the eagle among birds, victorious conqueror of the skies, shining and radiating like the moon, lover and admirer of its darling, the lovely night.
यह सोम मनुष्यों के मध्य गरुड़ के समान व्याप्त और प्रकाशित होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1277
एष स्य मद्यो रसोइ᳓व चष्ंए दिवः शिशुः. य इन्दुर् वारम् आविशत्
Ya indur våram åvi‹at. This ecstatic bliss, honey sweet of life's joy, appears like the rising sun at dawn when, as the beauty and glory of existence, it reflects in the heart of the chosen soul.
यह आनंदमय रस, जीवन के अमृत के समान, सूर्योदय के समय प्रकाश की भांति प्रकट होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1278
एष स्य पीतये सुतो हरिर् अर्षति धर्णसिः. क्रन्दन् योनिम् अभि प्रियम्
Krandan yonim abhi priyam. This Soma spirit of Ananda, self-manifestive, self-proclaiming, all wielder and sustainer, reflects in and radiates from its darling mother form, the green and golden veil of Nature, roars with thunder and rolls around for the joyous experience of humanity, aliminating pain and sufferance.
हे हरि, तुम आनंद के स्रोत हो, प्रकृति के प्रिय रूप में प्रकट होकर गर्जना करते हो और मानव जाति के आनंद के लिए सब कुछ धारण करते हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1279
एतम् त्यं हरितो दश मर्मृज्यन्ते अपस्यु- वः. याभिर् मदाय शुम्भते
This Soma, ten senses and ten pranas of the devotee, well controlled past sufferance and pointed to concentrative meditation, present in uninvolved purity of form, by which experience the bright presence is glorified for the soul's joy.
यह हरित दश (इंद्रियां और प्राण) जो भलीभांति नियंत्रित होकर ध्यान में लीन हैं, वे आत्मा के आनंद के लिए उज्ज्वल उपस्थिति को महिमामंडित करते हैं।

एष वाजि हितो नृभिर् विश्वविन् मनसस्पतिः. अव्यं वारं वि धावति
Avya≈ våra≈ vi dhåvati. This supreme all potent soma light and joy of the universe is realised by earnest sages within. It is all aware over the universe, master controller of the universal mind energy, all saviour and protector, and without delay it rises and manifests in the inner self of its favourite blessed devotee.
यह सर्वव्यापी, सर्वज्ञ, मन का स्वामी, ब्रह्मांड का प्रकाश और आनंद है, जो भीतर से प्रकट होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1281
एष पवित्रे अक्षरत् सोमो देवेभ्यः सुतः. विश्वा धामान्याविशन्
Vi‹vå dhåmånyåvi‹an. This Soma, divine presence and bliss, emerges and vibrates in holy minds, distilled by them through meditation for the noble souls while it rolls in majesty in and over all regions of the universe.
यह पवित्र, अक्षर सोम देवताओं के लिए निचोड़ा गया है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1282
एष देवः शुभायतेइ᳓धि योनावमर्त्यः. वृत्रहा देववीतमः
Vætrahå devav∂tama¨. This self-refulgent, immortal divine presence, highest lover of noble and generous souls, pervades and shines all over in the universe through its mode of Prakrti, dispelling darkness and eliminating evil.
यह देव, जो अमर है, शुभ कर्मों का आधार है और सभी का प्रिय है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1283
एष वृषा कनिक्रदद् दशभिर् जामिभिर् यतः. अभि द्रोणानि धावति
Abhi droƒåni dhåvati. This omnificent shower of generous divinity vibrating by the dynamics of Prakrti and her tenfold mode of subtle and gross elements proclaims its presence loud and bold in beauteous forms of muta- tions and manifestations of nature in the universe.
यह सर्वज्ञ, उदार देवत्व की वर्षा, प्रकृति की गतिकी और उसके सूक्ष्म तथा स्थूल तत्वों के दस गुना रूप से स्पंदित होकर, ब्रह्मांड में उत्परिवर्तन और प्रकटीकरण के सुंदर रूपों में अपनी उपस्थिति का जोरदार और साहसिक घोषणा करती है।

एष स्ञुर्यम् अरोचयत् पवमानो अधि द्यवि. पवित्रे मत्सरो मदः
Pavitre matsaro mada¨. This soma illuminates the sun in heaven, pure, purifying and dynamic, joy in the beauty of purity, the very spirit of joy itself.
यह सोम सूर्य को प्रकाशित करता है, जो स्वर्ग में शुद्ध, पवित्र करने वाला और गतिशील है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1285
एष स्ञुर्येण हासते संवसानो विवस्वता. पतिर्वाचो अदाभ्यह्
Patirvåco adåbhyah. It rises and abides with the sun on top of the regions of light and, internalised in the pure mind and clairvoyant consciousness, it is the divine ecstasy of the celebrant.
यह सूर्य के साथ मिलकर प्रकाश के लोकों के ऊपर निवास करता है, जो शुद्ध मन और दिव्य चेतना में स्थित है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1286
एष कवीर् अभिष्ंउतः पवित्रे अधि तोशते. पुनानो घ्नन्नप द्विषः
Punåno ghnannapa dvi¶a¨. This Soma, creative, inspiring and poetic spirit of universal joy, pure and sanctifying, manifests in the pure and pious consciousness of the devotees, elimina- ting disturbing negativities when it is contemplated with a concentrated mind.
यह सोम, जो पवित्र और शुद्ध करने वाला है, भक्तों के शुद्ध और पवित्र चित्त में प्रकट होता है, और एकाग्र मन से चिंतन करने पर विघ्नकारी नकारात्मकताओं को दूर करता है।

एष इन्द्राय वायवे स्वर्जित् परि षिच्यते. पवित्रे दक्षसाधनः
Pavitre dak¶asådhana¨. This all potent and versatile divine spirit of universal joy manifests in the pure consciousness of the karma-yogi and wins the light of heaven for the vibrant meditative soul.
यह सर्वशक्तिमान और बहुमुखी दिव्य आत्मा, जो सार्वभौमिक आनंद से परिपूर्ण है, कर्मयोगी की शुद्ध चेतना में प्रकट होती है और ध्यानमग्न आत्मा के लिए स्वर्ग का प्रकाश प्राप्त करती है।

एष नृभिर् वि नीयते दिवो म्ञुर्धा वृषा सुतः. सोमो वनेषु विश्ववित्
Somo vane¶u vi‹vavit. This Soma, joyous spirit of divinity, is the summit of heaven, infinitely generous, self-existent and omniscient, and with meditation, the ecstasy of it is collected in abundance in the consciousness by the dedicated sages.
यह सोम, जो स्वर्ग का शिखर है, वनों में सर्वत्र व्याप्त है और ध्यान से चेतना में प्रचुरता से एकत्रित होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1289
एष गव्युर् अचिक्रदत् पवमानो हिरण्ययुः. इन्दुः सत्राजिदस्तृतः
Indu¨ satråjidastæta¨. It loves the earth and earthly joys and loves to give, speaking loud and bold its own eternal Word, it is pure and purifier, it loves the golden beauty and prosperity of life and loves to bless, it is soothing and self-refulgent beautiful, conqueror of all battles of cosmic dynamics, and eternally invincible.
यह पवित्र सोम रस, जो स्वर्ण की तरह तेजस्वी है, आनंदित होकर बोलता है और सबको शुद्ध करता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1290
एष शुष्म्यसिष्यदद् अन्तरिक्षे वृषा हरिः. पुनान इन्दुर् इन्द्रमा
Punåna indur indramå. This Soma Spirit of eternal joy is omnipotent, all pervasive in space, infinitely generous, eliminator of suffering, and, purifying and sanctifying the human soul, it is the ultimate bliss of existence.
यह सोम روح शाश्वत आनंद का है, सर्वशक्तिमान, सर्वव्यापी, असीम उदार, दुखों का नाश करने वाला है, और मानव आत्मा को शुद्ध और पवित्र करके, यह अस्तित्व का परम आनंद है।

एष शुष्म्यदाभ्यः सोमः पुनानो अर्षति. देवावीर् अघश¤सहा
Devåv∂r agha‹a¤sahå. This mighty undauntable Soma, pure and purifying, pervades and rolls in the universe everywhere, protector and promoter of the good and destroyer of sin and scandal.
यह शक्तिशाली, अदम्य सोम, शुद्ध और शुद्ध करने वाला, सर्वत्र व्याप्त है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1292
स सुतः पीतये वृषा सोमः पवित्रे अर्षति. विघ्नन् रक्षाँन्सि देवयुः
Vighnan rak¶å~nsi devayu¨. Soma, supremely generous Spirit of existence, self-revealed, self-realised by the devotee, lover or divine souls, manifests and vibrates in the pure heart of the devotee, eliminating negativities, sin and evil, for the pleasure and ecstasy of the celebrant.
हे सोम! तुम पवित्र हृदय में निवास करते हुए, भक्तों के लिए विघ्नों को दूर करते हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1293
स पवित्रे विचक्षणो हरिर् अर्षति धर्णसिः. अभि योनिं कनिक्रदत्
Abhi yoni≈ kanikradat. Soma, all watching omniscient, destroyer of suffering, omnipotent wielder and sustainer of the universe, pervades and vibrates in Prakrti, proclaiming its presence loud and bold as thunder.
हे सर्वज्ञ हरि, आप पवित्रता में स्थित होकर, दुखों का नाश करते हुए, ब्रह्मांड को धारण और संचालित करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1294
स वाजी रोचनं दिवः पवमानो वि धावति. रक्षोहा वारम् अव्ययम्
Rak¶ohå våram avyayam. This dynamic omnipotent Spirit, light of heaven, pure and purifying, vibrates universally and rushes to the chosen imperishable soul of the devotee, destroying negativities, sin and evil.
वह सर्वव्यापी, स्वर्ग का प्रकाशमान, शुद्ध और पवित्र करने वाला परमात्मा, भक्त की अविनाशी आत्मा की ओर प्रवाहित होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1295
स त्रितस्याधि सानवि पवमानो अरोचयत्. जामिभिः स्ञुर्यं सह
Jåmibhi¨ sμurya≈ saha. Soma, pure, purifying, and all pervasive across and ever on top of the three worlds of space and three dimensions of time, shines with the sun and other kindred luminaries.
सोम, जो तीनों लोकों और तीनों कालों में व्याप्त होकर शुद्ध होता है, सूर्य के साथ प्रकाशित होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1296
स वृत्रहा वृषा सुतो वरिवोविद् अदाभ्यः. सोमो वाजम् इवासरत्
Somo våjam ivåsarat. Soma, destroyer of darkness, generous, self- manifestive, self-revealed and self discovered, lord giver of the best of wealth and excellence of the world, fearless and undaunted, pervades and vibrates in existence as Shakti, divine omnipotent energy.
हे सोम! तुम अंधकार के नाशक, ऐश्वर्य के दाता, स्वयं प्रकट और निर्भय होकर संसार में शक्ति रूप से व्याप्त हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1297
स देवः कविनेषितोइ᳓भि द्रोणानि धावति. इन्दुरिन्द्राय मँन्हयन्
Indurindråya ma~nhayan. Self-refulgent generous Soma divine, celebrated by poets, rushes to manifest, brilliant, blissful and great, in the heart of the devotees exalting the soul.
वह दिव्य कवि-स्तुत सोम, आनंदित करता हुआ, हृदय में प्रवाहित होता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1298
यः पावमानीरध्येत्यृषिभिः संभृतं रसम्. सर्वं स प्ञुतम् अश्नाति स्वदितं मात- रिश्वना
Whoever studies the sanctifying Rks, nectar preserved by the sages, he tastes the food seasoned and sanctified by the life breath of divinity.
जो ऋषि-मुनियों द्वारा संरक्षित पवित्र रस (ऋचाओं) का अध्ययन करता है, वह प्राणवायु से परिष्कृत और स्वादिष्ट अन्न का भोग करता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1299
पावमानीर् यो अध्येत्य् ऋषिभिः संभृतं रसम्. तस्मै सरस्वती दुहे क्षीरं सर्पिर् मध्ञुदकम्
Whoever studies the Rks, sanctifying nectar preserved by the sages, for him, mother Sarasvati, omni- scient divinity, herself distils and offers the milk, butter, honey and the nectar essence of life.
जो ऋषि-मुनियों द्वारा संरक्षित अमृत का अध्ययन करता है, उस साधक को सर्वज्ञ देवी सरस्वती स्वयं जीवन का सार, दूध, मक्खन और मधु प्रदान करती हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1300
पावमानिः स्वस्त्ययनीः सुदुघा हि घृत- श्चुतः. ःर्षिभिः संभृतो रसो ब्राह्मणेष्व- मृतं हितम्
Flowing, sanctifying, edifying, fructifying and ecstatic is the holy experience of divine vision and message of the Rks received and collected by sagely seers and that is the eternal nectar preserved among the dedicated Brahmanas.
पवित्र करने वाला, कल्याणकारी, और ऋषियों द्वारा संचित यह दिव्य रस, ब्राह्मणों में अमृत के समान स्थित है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1301
पावमानीर् दधन्तु न इमं लोकं अथो अमुम्. कामान्त् समर्धयन्तु नो देवीर् देवैः समाहृताह्

येन देवाः पवित्रेणात्मानम् पुनते सदा. तेन सहस्रधारेण पावमानीः पुनन्तु नः
Tena sahasradhåreƒa påvamån∂¨ punantu na¨. That pure beatitude of divinity by which the holy sages for all time purify and sanctify themselves, by that very sacred thousand streamed shower of celestial light of divinity may the Vedic verses purify and elevate us.
जिस पवित्रता से देवता सदा स्वयं को शुद्ध करते हैं, उसी हजार धाराओं वाली पवित्रता से वेदों के मंत्र हमें शुद्ध करें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1303
पावमानीः स्वस्त्ययनीस् ताभिर् गच्छति नान्दनम्. पुण्या¤श्च भक्षान् भक्षयत्य- मृतत्वं च गच्छति
Purifying, sanctifying and beautifying are the sacred Vedic verses of divinity by which the soul attains to ultimate freedom and ananda of Mokhsa. By the same it enjoys the pure holy pleasures of life as its rightful share and ultimately attains immortal freedom from the bondage of life and death.
यह पवित्र मंत्र आत्मा को परम आनंद और मोक्ष की ओर ले जाता है, जिससे वह जीवन के शुद्ध सुखों का अनुभव करती है और अंततः जन्म-मृत्यु के बंधन से मुक्त होकर अमरता प्राप्त करती है।

अगन्म महा नमसा यविष्ंहं यो दीदाय समिद्धः स्वे दुरोणे. चित्रभानुं रोदसी अन्तर् उर्वी स्वाहुतं विश्वतः प्रत्य¤च√
With profound homage and reverence, let us move and rise to the most youthful Agni, light, fire and electrical energy, which shines well kindled in its own region, is wondrously bright and forceful between the vast heaven and earth, and when it is well invoked it moves in all directions for all.
हे युवाग्नि, हम तुम्हें श्रद्धापूर्वक नमन करते हैं, जो अपने धाम में प्रज्वलित होकर, विशाल द्यावा-पृथ्वी के मध्य अद्भुत प्रकाशमान और सर्वत्र व्याप्त होकर, आह्वान करने पर सभी दिशाओं में गतिमान होते हैं।

स मह्ना विश्वा दुरितानि साह्वान् अग्नि ष्ंअवे दम आ जातवेदाः. स नो रक्षिषद् दुरिताद् अवद्याद् अस्मान् गृणत उत नो मघोनः
May that Agni, self refulgent lord of cosmic energy, omnipresent percipient of every thing in existence and destroyer of all negativities and evils by his greatness in the world on prayer, save us all, devotees and celebrants blest with wealth, power and excellence, from sin and scandal.
हे सर्वव्यापी, सर्वज्ञ अग्निदेव, अपनी महानता से हमारे समस्त पापों और दुखों को दूर करें, और हमें बुराई से बचाकर धन-संपन्न बनाएं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1306
त्वं वरुण उत मित्रो अग्ने त्वां वर्द्धन्ति मतिभिर् वसिष्ंहाः. त्वे वसु शुषणनानि सन्तु य्ञुयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः
O lord of light and life, Agni, you are the judge, you are the friend. Devotees and celebrants blest with settlement and prosperity exalt you with their will and wisdom. May those who repose their love and faith in you enjoy the gifts of your generosity. And may you all, scholars and leading lights, protect and promote us with peace, prosperity and all round well being of life.
हे वरुण, मित्र और अग्नि देव, हम बुद्धिमानों द्वारा आपकी स्तुति की जाती है। हे देवगण, हम सदा आपकी कृपा और कल्याण से सुरक्षित रहें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1307
महाँन् इन्द्रो य ओजसा पर्जन्यो वृष्तिमाँन् इव. स्तोमैर्वत्सस्य वावृधे
Stomairvatsasya våvædhe. Great is Indra by his power and splendour like the cloud charged with rain and waxes with pleasure in the dear devotee's awareness by his child like hymns of adoration.
हे इन्द्र, तुम अपनी शक्ति और वर्षा से भरे मेघ के समान पराक्रम से महान हो, और पुत्र के समान स्तुतियों से प्रसन्न होते हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1308
कण्वा इन्द्रं यदक्रत स्तोमैर् यज्¤अस्य साधनं. जामि ब्रुवत आयुधा
When the wise sages with their adorations rise to Indra and surrender to him as their yajnic guide as well as destination, they exclaim: Verily the lord of thunder is our brother, father, mother, sister,everything.
जब ऋषि स्तुतियों से इन्द्र को यज्ञ के साधक और लक्ष्य के रूप में स्वीकार करते हैं, तब वे कहते हैं कि वह हमारा भाई, पिता, माता, बहन, सब कुछ है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1309
प्रजाम् ऋतस्य पिप्रतः प्र यद् भरन्त वह्नयः. विप्रा ऋतस्य वाहसा
When the forces of nature carry on the laws of divinity and sustain the children of creation through evolution, and the enlightened sages too carry on the yajna of divine law of truth in their adorations, Indra, immanent divinity, waxes with pleasure.
हे इन्द्र, जब प्रकृति की शक्तियाँ सृष्टि का पोषण करती हैं और ज्ञानीजन सत्य के यज्ञ का वहन करते हैं, तब आप प्रसन्न होते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1310
पवमानस्य जिघ्नतो हरेश् चन्द्रा असृक्षत. जीरा अजिरशोचिषः
J∂rå ajira‹oci¶a¨. Beauteous manifestations and brilliant radiations of eternal light and power of lord creator, destroyer of want and suffering, dispeller of darkness and negation, ever active and constantly flowing, pure and purifying, come into existence and flow according to divine plan and the cosmic model.
हे पवित्र, सर्वव्यापी, सर्वशक्तिमान प्रभु, आपकी दिव्य योजना के अनुसार, अंधकार और अभाव को दूर करने वाली, प्रकाश और शक्ति की सुंदर अभिव्यक्तियाँ उत्पन्न होती हैं और प्रवाहित होती हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1311
पवमानो रथीतमः शुभ्रेभिः शुभ्र- शस्तमः. हरिश्चन्द्रो मरुद्गणः
Pure and purifying, supreme master of the cosmic chariot and its controller, most refulgent with its light and powers, destroyer of want and suffering, commander and controller of all cosmic powers and forces in action, such is Soma.
हे सोम! तुम शुद्ध, परम तेजस्वी, रथ के स्वामी और सभी शक्तियों के नियंत्रक हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1312
पवमान व्यश्नुहि रश्मिभिर् वाजसातमः. दधत् स्तोत्रे सुवीर्यम्
Dadhat stotre suv∂ryam. Pure and purifying Soma, omnipresent with radiations of self- refulgence, omnipotent giver of strength, power and advancement, inspirer of the celebrants and celebrations with divine bliss and energy, come and bless.
हे पवित्र सोम, अपनी किरणों से सब जगह व्याप्त होकर, बल और शक्ति प्रदान करो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1313
परीतो षि¤चता सुतं सोमो य उत्तमं हविः. दधन्वाँन् यो नर्यो अप्स्वाýइ᳓न्तरा सुषाव सोमम् अद्रिभिः
Rahugana, Bhauma Atri, Vishvamitra Gathina, Par∂to ¶i¤catå suta≈ somo ya uttama≈ havi¨. Dadhanvå~n yo naryo apsvåýíntarå su¶åva somam adribhi¨. From here onward sprinkle Soma with love and service, Soma, the spirit of beauty, peace and joy of life, Soma, realised with best of thoughts, effort and determined discipline of meditation, Soma which bears the best materials for creative yajna of personal and social development, Soma which is the leading light of life, realised within in the heart and our Karmas performed in life.
हे सोम, तुम श्रेष्ठ हवि हो, तुम ही जल में निवास करते हो, तुम ही सर्वोत्तम विचारों और प्रयासों से प्राप्त होते हो।

न्ञुनं पुनानोइ᳓विभिः परि स्रवादब्धः सुरभिन्तरः. सुते चित्त्वाप्सु मदामो अन्धसा श्रीणन्तो गोभिर् उत्तरम्
Rahugana, Bhauma Atri, Vishvamitra Gathina, Nμuna≈ punånoívibhi¨ pari sravådabdha¨ surabhintara¨. Sute cittvåpsu madåmo andhaså ‹r∂ƒanto gobhir uttaram. For sure, pure and purifying, flow on with protective and promotive forces, gracious, undaunted, more and more charming and blissful. When you are realised in our actions, mixed as one with our energies, will and senses, then we rejoice and celebrate you in our perceptions with hymns of praise, and later in silent communion.
हे बृहस्पति के पुत्र, कश्यप, मरीचि और गौतम, हे राहुगण, भौम अत्रि, विश्वामित्र गाथिन, हे देवगण, पवित्र और पवित्र करने वाले, सुरक्षा और उन्नति के साथ, निर्भय होकर, अधिक से अधिक आनंदमय और सुखद होकर प्रवाहित हों।

परि स्वानश्चक्षसे देवमादनः क्रतुर् इन्दुर् विचक्षणः
Rahugana, Bhauma Atri, Vishvamitra Gathina, Pari svåna‹cak¶ase devamådana¨ kratur indur vicak¶aƒa¨. Celebrated in our thoughts and perceptions, joy of the sages, power of holy yajnic action, brilliant and blissful, all intelligent and omniscient, we adore you for the augmentation of our intelligence and enlightenment.
हे बृहस्पति के पुत्र, कश्यप, मरीचि और गौतम, हम आपकी बुद्धि की वृद्धि के लिए आराधना करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1316
असावि सोमो अरुषो वृषा हरी राजेव दस्मो अभि गा अचिक्रदत्. पुनानो वारमत्येष्यव्ययं श्येनो न योनिम् घृतवन्तम् आसदत्
Distilled is Soma, consecrated in the heart, self- refulgent supreme creative spirit of the universe, virile and generous, dispeller of darkness and deprivation, regal and gracious like a ruler, self-moves, vibrating to the generation of stars and planets. Itself pure, purifying and sanctifying, it moves to manifest in the heart of imperishable Prakrti as it chooses and, like the sun that warms and fertilises, it enlivens the generative centre of life as its own womb of manifestive existence. Thus does Soma create and generate the universe.
सोम रस, जो हृदय में प्रतिष्ठित, तेजस्वी और पराक्रमी है, अंधकार को दूर करता है और राजा के समान शोभायमान होकर स्वयं ही सब कुछ उत्पन्न करता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1317
पर्जन्यः पिता महिषस्य पर्णिनो नाभा पृथिव्या गिरिषु क्षयं दधे. स्वसार आपो अभि गा उदासरन्त् सं ग्रावभिर् वसते वीते अध्वरे
Father and sustainer of all great and small, birds and trees, serious realists and flying dreamers, centre hold of the earth and showers of rain, you abide in the mighty clouds and over the mountains. Your waves and vibrations flow and radiate, flow as sister streams and radiate to the stars and planets, and in holy yajna you vibrate with the music of soma stones and the chant of high priests.
हे पर्जन्य देव! आप समस्त जगत् के पिता और पालक हैं, पृथ्वी और पर्वतों पर निवास करते हैं, और आपकी जलधाराएँ चारों ओर प्रवाहित होती हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1318
कविर् वेधस्या पर्येषि माहिनम् अत्यो न मृष्ंओ अभि वाजम् अर्षसि. अपसेधन् दुरिता सोम नो मृड घृता वसानः परि यासि निर्णिज√
Soma, omniscient visionary and poetic creator, with the desire to enlighten, you radiate to great minds and move to dynamic yajnas of humanity like accelerated energy to its target of achievement. O lord of light and peace, be kind, dispelling all evil to nullity. Wearing the grace of beauty and purity of yajnic love and sweetness, you move and embrace humanity for fulfilment.
हे सोम, सर्वज्ञ द्रष्टा और कवि, ज्ञान की इच्छा से, आप महान आत्माओं को प्रकाशित करते हैं और मानव जाति के यज्ञों की ओर बढ़ते हैं। हे प्रकाश और शांति के स्वामी, कृपा करके सभी बुराइयों को दूर करें और अपनी सुंदरता से हमें घेर लें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1319
›रायन्त इव स्ञुर्यं विश्वेदिन्द्रस्य भक्षत. वस्ञुनि जातो. जनिमान्योजसा प्रति भागं न दीधिमः
Vasμuni jåto. janimånyojaså prati bhåga≈ na d∂dhima¨. Just as the rays of light share and diffuse the radiance of the sun, so you too share and reflect the golden glories of Indra, the cosmic soul. Let us meditate on the divine presence and for our share enjoy the ecstasy of bliss vibrating in the world of past and future creation by virtue of Indra's omnipresent majesty.
जैसे सूर्य की किरणें प्रकाश फैलाती हैं, वैसे ही हे इन्द्र, हम सब आपके ऐश्वर्य का अंश प्राप्त करें और आनंद का अनुभव करें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1320
अलर्षिरातिं वसुदाम् उप स्तुहि भद्रा इन्द्र- स्य रातयः. यो अस्य कामं विधतो न रोषति मनो दानाय चोदयन्
Adore and meditate on Indra, giver of wealth, honour, excellence and bliss. Infinite is his generosity, unsatiating, auspicious his gifts. He does not displease the devotee, does not hurt his desire and prayer, he inspires his mind for the reception of divine gifts.
हे धन-प्रदाता इन्द्र की स्तुति करो, जिनकी उदारता अनंत और कल्याणकारी है; वे भक्त के मन को दान के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1321
यत इन्द्र भयामहे ततो नो अभयं कृधि. मघवन् छग्धि तव तन् न ञुतये वि द्विषो वि मृधो जहि
Maghavan chagdhi tava tan na μutaye vi dvi¶o vi mædho jahi. Indra, lord indomitable, whoever, whatever and wherever we fear, make us fearless from that. O lord of might and world power, pray strengthen us with your powers and protections of the highest order for our safety and advancement. Eliminate the jealous, the malignant, the disdainers and contemners.
हे इन्द्र, जहाँ से हमें भय होता है, वहाँ से हमें निर्भय बनाइए।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1322
त्वं हि राधसस्पते राधसो महः क्षय- स्यासि विधर्ता. तं त्वा वयं मघवन्न् इन्द्र गिर्वणः सुतावन्तो हवामहे
Indra, lord of the world's wealth, munificence and achievement, you alone are the protector, and promoter of the wealth, grandeur, home and honour of the invite and exalt you for the munificence and grandeur of life you grant, protect and advance.
हे धन के स्वामी, हे इन्द्र, आप ही महान धन और ऐश्वर्य के रक्षक और बढ़ाने वाले हैं। हे ऐश्वर्यवान इन्द्र, हम सोमरस का पान करते हुए आपकी स्तुति करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1323
त्वं सोमासि धार्युर् मन्द्र ओजिष्ंहो अध्वरे. पवस्व मँन्हयद्रयिः
Pavasva ma~nhayadrayi¨. O Soma, you are the spirit and constant stream of love, life and beauty of the life and flux of existence, sustaining integrative power, joyous and most vigorous in the cosmic yajna of love free from violence, hate and destruction. Flow on, O sustaining stream, pure, purifying and sanctifying life, giving showers of wealth, honour and excellence of life in bliss.
हे सोम! तुम यज्ञ में धारण करने वाले, आनंददायक, बलवान हो, हे धन को धारण करने वाले! तुम प्रवाहित होओ।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1324
त्वं सुतो मदिन्तमो दधन्वान् मत्सरिन्त- मः. इन्दुः सत्राजिद् अस्तृतः
You, self-existent spirit, distilled and realised in meditative yajna, are the giver of joy to humanity, most ecstatic sustaining power of affirmation, brilliant and blissful, all-time winner of success and victory in yajnic sessions
हे आत्मस्वरूप, ध्यान यज्ञ में सिद्ध होकर, आप आनंद के दाता, परम उल्लासदायक, और यज्ञ में सदा विजयी हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1325
त्वं सुष्वाणो अद्रिभिर् अभ्यर्ष कनिक्रदत्. द्युमन्तं शुष्ममा भर
Dyumanta≈ ‹u¶mamå bhara. You, stirred by the brave celebrants in yajna and meditation, arise and sanctify loud and bold, pray bring us showers of bliss, highest and most vigorous strength and power for living a life of purity and happy fulfilment.
हे तेजस्वी, हे बलवान, हे गर्जन करने वाले, हमें शक्ति और आनंद प्रदान करो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1326
पवस्व देववीतय इन्दो धाराभिर् ओजसा. Å कलशं मधुमान्त् सोम नः सदः
Å kala‹a≈ madhumånt soma na¨ sada¨. O Soma of divine light and peace, harbinger of honeyed joy, flow in streams with power and lustre for our attainment of the path of divinity and abide in our heart core of the soul.
हे देवत्व से युक्त सोम, अपनी शक्ति और तेज की धाराओं से प्रवाहित हो, जो मधुर आनंद के दूत हैं, और हमारे हृदय में निवास करें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1327
तव द्रप्सा उदप्रुत इन्द्रं मदाय वावृ- धुः. त्वां देवासो अमृताय कं पपुः
The streams of your peace, beauty and bliss swell like streams of water in flood, and the divines drink of the ecstasy for the attainment of immortality.
हे इन्द्र, आपकी शांति, सौंदर्य और आनंद की धाराएँ जलधाराओं की तरह उमड़ती हैं, और देवता अमरता की प्राप्ति के लिए उस परमानंद का पान करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1328
Å नः सुतास इन्दवः पुनाना धावता रयिम्. वृष्ंइद्यावो रीत्यपः स्वर्विदः
O streams of the beauty and bliss of peace and joy filtered from experience, heavenly showers, liquid floods, paradisal bliss pure and purifying, bring us the wealth, honour and excellence of the highest order.
हे शांति और आनंद के दिव्य प्रवाह, हमें सर्वोच्च धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता प्रदान करें।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1329
परि त्यं हर्यतं हरिं बभ्रुं पुनन्ति वारेण. यो देवान् विस्वाँन् इत्परि मदेन सह गच्छति
Ten psychic powers with the best of their potential adore and exalt that dear divinity, omniscience itself, who, omnipresent, pervades and rejoices with all divinities of the world with divine ecstasy.
वह प्रिय, सर्वज्ञ, सर्वव्यापी देव, जो समस्त देवों के साथ आनंदित होता है, दस दिव्य शक्तियों द्वारा स्तुति और वर्धन किया जाता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1330
द्विर्यं प¤च स्वयशसं सखायो अद्रिसँन्- हतम्. प्रियम् इन्द्रस्य काम्यं प्रस्नापय- न्त ञुर्मयः
Soma, dearest love of the soul, innately glorious, the glory intensified by spiritual light, vibrant spirit rolling in the consciousness whom ten psychic powers of mind and sense perceive, conceive and exalt, that spirit we cherish and adore.
हे इन्द्र के प्रिय, आत्मा के आनंदमय, स्वाभाविक रूप से तेजस्वी, दस इंद्रियों द्वारा अनुभव किए जाने वाले, दस शक्तियों से युक्त आत्मा को हम प्रेम करते हैं और उसकी स्तुति करते हैं।

इन्द्राय सोम पातवे वृत्रघ्ने परि षिच्यसे. नरे च दक्षिणावते वीराय सदनासदे
Nare ca dak¶iƒåvate v∂råya sadanåsade. O Soma spirit of light and ecstasy of grace, you are adored and served for the soul's experience of divinity, for the man of charity and the brilliant sage on the vedi of yajnic service so that the demon of evil, darkness and ignorance may be expelled from the soul of humanity and destroyed.
हे सोम, इन्द्र के लिए पान करने हेतु, वृत्रहंता के लिए, और यज्ञवेदी पर स्थित मनुष्य के लिए आप ही हैं।

पवस्व सोम महे दक्षायाश्वो न नित्को वाजी धनाय
O Soma, as victor of life and divine glory, flow, radiate and inspire us like energy itself controlled and consecrated for great creative and productive holy work, expert technique and the production and achievement of wealth.
हे सोमदेव, महान शक्ति और धन की प्राप्ति के लिए, विजय की ऊर्जा के समान प्रवाहित हों।

प्र ते सोतारो रसं मदाय पुनन्ति सोमं महे द्युम्नाय
O Soma, spirit of divine energy and peace, your yajnic celebrants create and consecrate that very blissful liquid flow of your ecstatic energy for joy and for the great honour and glory of life.
हे सोम, तुम्हारे यज्ञाग्नि में दीक्षित भक्तगण तुम्हारी आनंदमयी ऊर्जा के प्रवाह को महान महिमा और उल्लास के लिए शुद्ध करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1335
उपो षु जातम् अप्तुरं गोभिर् भΔगम् परिष्- कृतम्. इन्दुं देवा अयासिषुः
Soma, spirit of beauty, grace and glory, divinely created, nobly born, zealous, destroyer of negativity, beatified and celebrated in songs of divine voice, the noblest powers of nature and humanity adore, share and enjoy.
हे सोम, दिव्य रूप से उत्पन्न, सौंदर्य और ऐश्वर्य से युक्त, देवताओं द्वारा पूजित।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1336
तमिद् वर्धन्तु नो गिरो वत्सं संशिश्वरीर् इव. य इन्द्रस्य हृदं सनिः
As mother cows love, cheer and caress the calf, so let our songs of adoration celebrate and exalt Soma, love and grace of the heart of Indra, life's glory on top of existence.
जैसे गौएँ बछड़े को प्रेम से पुचकारती हैं, वैसे ही हमारी स्तुतियाँ इन्द्र के हृदय के सोम को, जो जीवन की शोभा है, बढ़ाएँ।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1337
अर्षा नः सोम शं गवे धुक्षस्व पिप्युषी- मिषम्. वर्धा समुद्रम् उक्थ्य
O Soma, peaceable ruling powers of the world, rise, move forward and create conditions of peace and progress for the earth, work for nature, animal wealth and environment, advance human culture, create common good and, thus, exalt the grace and glory of human life, rolling like the infinite ocean.
हे सोम, हे विश्व के शांतिपूर्ण शासक, प्रगति करो और पृथ्वी के लिए शांति और उन्नति की स्थितियाँ बनाओ, प्रकृति, पशुधन और पर्यावरण के लिए कार्य करो, मानव संस्कृति को उन्नत करो, और इस प्रकार अनंत महासागर की भांति मानव जीवन की कृपा और महिमा को बढ़ाओ।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1338
Å घा ये अग्निम् इन्धते स्तृणन्ति बर्हिर् आनुषक्. येषाम् इन्द्रो युवा सखा
Blessed are they for sure who kindle the fire of yajna, Agni, and spread the seats of grass open for all in faith and love and whose friend is Indra, the mighty youthful soul who brooks no nonsense and delay.
जिनके मित्र युवा इंद्र हैं, वे निश्चित रूप से धन्य हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1339
बृहन्निदिध्म एषां भ्ञुरि शस्त्रं पृथुः स्वरुः. येषाम् इन्द्रो युवा सखा
Great is their fuel and fire, profuse their praise and song of adoration, expansive their yajna and high their ensign whose friend is Indra, youthful soul, their ruler and defender.

Chapter 10 · Verse 1340
अयुद्ध इद् युधा वृतं श्ञुर आजति सत्वभिः. येषाम् इन्द्रो युवा सखा
Ye¶åm indro yuvå sakhå. Unequalled is Indra, irresistible, even when there is no war. The mighty hero by the very force of his presence and character throws off the enemy supported by brave warriors all round. Blessed are they whose friend is Indra, the mighty youthful heroic soul.
हे इन्द्र, तुम अजेय और पराक्रमी हो, युद्ध न होने पर भी तुम अपने बल से शत्रुओं को परास्त करते हो, धन्य हैं वे जिनके तुम मित्र हो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1341
य एक इद् विदयते वसु मर्ताय दाशुषे. ∫शानो अप्रतिष्कुत इन्द्रो अΔग
Dear friend, the one sole lord who gives everything in life to the man of charity and generosity is Indra, supreme ruler of the world, who is constant, unmoved and unchallenged.
हे मित्र, जो एक ही प्रभु दाता मनुष्य को धन-संपत्ति प्रदान करते हैं, वे ही इंद्र हैं, जो अटल, अप्रतिहत और सर्वव्यापी शासक हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1342
यश्चिद्धि त्वा बहुभ्य आ सुतावाँन् आविवासति. उग्रं तत् पत्यते शव इन्द्रो अΔग
Ugra≈ tat patyate ‹ava indro aΔga. Dear friend, it is Indra, creator of energy, vitality and the joy of soma, who, for the sake of many does special favours to you and makes you shine, and it is he, again, who controls violent force, that which could be anywhere.
हे मित्र, वही इन्द्र, जो अनेक लोगों के लिए विशेष कृपा करते हैं और आपको प्रकाशित करते हैं, वही उग्र शक्ति को भी नियंत्रित करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1343
कदा मर्त्तम् अराधसं पदा क्षुम्पम् इव स्फुरत्. कदा नः शुश्रवद् गिर इन्द्रो अΔग
Dear friend, when would Indra, lord of wealth, power and justice, shake the miserly, uncreative, ungenerous and selfish person like a weed? Who knows? And would he listen to our prayers? Any time!
हे मित्र, कब वह ऐश्वर्यवान इन्द्र कंजूस को घास की तरह हिलाएगा? कौन जाने! और कब वह हमारी वाणी सुनेगा? किसी भी समय!
Chapter 10 · Verse 1344
गायन्ति त्वा गयत्रिणोइ᳓र्चन्त्यर्कमर्किणः. ब्रह्माणस्त्वा शतक्रत उद्वँन्शमिव येमिरे
Brahmåƒastvå ‹atakrata udva~n‹amiva yemire. The singers of Gayatri celebrate you, Indra, lord of song and joy, with the hymns of Sama-Veda. The Rks. And the sage scholars of all the Vedas, O lord of a hundred noble acts of cosmic yajna, maintain the line family.
हे इन्द्र, जो गायत्री का गान करते हैं, वे आपकी स्तुति करते हैं; ऋचाएँ और सामवेद के ज्ञाता आपकी महिमा का गान करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1345
वत् सानोः सान्वार्ञुहो भ्ञुर्यस्पष्ंअ कर्त्वम्. तद् इन्द्रो अर्थं चेतति य्ञुथेन वृष्णिर् एजति
Tad indro artha≈ cetati yμuthena v涃ir ejati. As the sun-beams radiate with waves of energy from one peak to another of a mountain illuminating each in succession, similarly when a person rises from one peak of action to another, accomplishing one after another as holy duty, then Indra, lord of light, generously illuminates one meaning of life and mystery after another for him.
हे इन्द्र, जब मनुष्य एक कर्म से दूसरे कर्म की ओर, एक कर्तव्य से दूसरे कर्तव्य की ओर, सूर्य की किरणों के समान ऊर्जा से प्रकाशित होते हुए बढ़ता है, तब वह अर्थ को समझता है।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1346
युΔक्ष्वा हि केशिना हरी वृषणा कक्ष्यप्रा. अथा न इन्द्र सोमपा गिराम् उपश्रुतिं चर
Athå na indra somapå giråm upa‹ruti≈ cara. Indra, lord of light blazing in the sun, protector and promoter of the soma of life and joy, yoke your team of sunbeams like chariot-horses, equal, opposite and complementary as the positive-negative currents of energy-circuit, beautiful in their operative field, generous, pervasive in the skies all round, listen to our prayer and advance the yajna of knowledge and action on earth. (Rg. 1-10-3)
हे इन्द्र, जीवन और आनंद के सोम का पान करने वाले, सूर्य में दीप्तिमान, अपनी किरणों के अश्वों को, जो समान, विपरीत और पूरक हैं, रथ में जोतो।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1347
सुषमिद्धो न आ वह देवाँन् अग्ने हविष्मते. होतः पावक यक्षि च
Hota¨ påvaka yak¶i ca. Agni, invoked, lighted and blazing refulgent, creator and chief agent of cosmic yajna, universal purifier, bring the divine gifts for us and for the yajamana offering holy materials to the fire, and carry on the yajna for ever.
हे अग्निदेव, प्रज्वलित होकर, यज्ञ के लिए देवताओं को हमारे पास लाओ।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1349
नराशँन्सम् इह प्रियम् अस्मिन् यज्¤अ उप ह्वये. मधुजिह्वं हविष्कृतम्
I invoke Agni, universally adorable lord of light and life, in my heart, and kindle the fire in this dear auspicious yajna with offerings of holy materials to be tasted and consumed by the honey flames of fire for the good of the people.
हे प्रिय यज्ञ में, मधु-जिह्वा वाले अग्नि देव का आह्वान करता हूँ, जो हविष्य का उपभोग करते हैं।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1350
अग्ने सुखतमे रथे देवाँन् ईडित आ वह. असि होता मनुर् हितः
Asi hotå manur hita¨. Agni, invoked, lighted and honoured by all, you are the lord and agent of yajna for the benefit of humanity. Come and bring the best powers and divinities of nature in the most comfortable chariot.
हे अग्निदेव, सुखद रथ पर आरूढ़ होकर देवताओं को यहाँ ले आइए।
Chapter 10 · Verse 1351
यद् अद्य स्ञुर उदितेइ᳓नागा मित्रो अर्यमा. सुवाति सविता भगः
Suvåti savitå bhaga¨. Whatever wealth of energy and blessed light of wisdom today at the dawn of sunrise the lord immaculate and sinless Mitra, universal love and friendship, Aryama, guide and judge on the path of rectitude, Savita, inspirer and generator, and Bhaga, omnipotent and glorious, generate and radiate, that we pray may come and bless us.
आज सूर्योदय के समय, मित्र, आर्यमा, सविता और भग नामक देवगण अपनी ऊर्जा और ज्ञान का प्रकाश प्रदान करते हैं।
